Alternative
The SiteGPT alternative that answers from your docs
SiteGPT turns your website into a chatbot. CertifChat is built for small support teams: a full-site and sitemap crawl plus PDF, text and Q&A sources, a confidence score on every answer, a log of what it couldn't answer, and prepaid credits with a cap you set.
Why teams look for a SiteGPT alternative
These are the neutral reasons people start shopping, not knocks against the tool.
- Your knowledge lives in more than web pages: PDFs, help-center exports, and curated Q&A all need to be in the mix.
- You want a confidence score on every answer, and unsure questions sent to your inbox when you turn hand-off on.
- You'd like a dashboard that shows what visitors ask and which questions went unanswered.
- You prefer prepaid credit plans where any extra spend is capped by a limit you set.
Where CertifChat stands out
- Full-site and sitemap crawl plus PDF, text and custom Q&A sources.
- Hybrid retrieval (semantic vector search plus Postgres full-text search, reciprocal-rank fusion) for sharper grounding than keyword or vector alone.
- A confidence score on every answer, and a dashboard that shows which pages each answer used.
- Knowledge gaps: every question it couldn't answer well, with one click to add the answer.
- Built-in simulation playground to test answers before going live.
- Prepaid credit pricing with top-up packs and a user-set auto-recharge limit.
